Many thanks to all landowners and License-sellers who have followed the advice to report all catches within 15th of July. The figures shows a significant decline in catches compared to last year.

Only 128 salmons above 7 kilo have been reported: 67 females - 48 males and 13 with unknown sex. Following an overall assessment, the board has decided to not open up for catches above 65 cm this year.

The action plan is clear: the sustainability perspective and the "precautionary principle" will be used as a basis for the management of the river. Even with a significant decline in catches, it is positive to see that many small salmons are back. It looks promising for the years to come.
