Molid is a short and idyllic zone, 600m in total. The Molid Zone has slow-flowing currents and provides amazing fishing accompanied by one of the Beiar-river’s most gorgeous views!
The zone is normally viewed as a lure or worm-zone, but proficient fly fishermen never struggle to catch the huge salmon that stop in the gulley. The slow moving water can very easily be fished even if the water level is high. Molid has been known for its great salmon fishing for ages (Leiråhøla, Molidbakkan and Ellinhøla). In August and September the seatrout fishing can be good as well. The upper border is at Leiråga, and the lower border is Merkåga.
