Tollåga has been known as a great salmon river for ages, and it still is. The river is normally crystal-clear, and not affected by melting water from glaciers.
The zone lies along Tollåneset, and borders with Storåga and Tollåga, but also borders with Heståga and the salmon ladder in Høgforsen on the west side of Storåga. The zone is very varied, with some areas being mostly rapids, and some being slow flowing. This makes the zone ideal for any kind of fishing equipment.
There is a cozy campground with a shelter and toilet at the zone. There is also firewood stacked there, which is free to use. It is also easy to park along the zone.
The zone is owned by the Tollånes farm and Statskog, and is run by the Tollånes land owners.
