Good news today: Beiarelva will be kept open 🙂
Many fishermen and landowners have followed the news the last few hours, and many was happy this afternoon that the Beiarelva will continue to be open for fishing. We repeat that the annual quota for killed salmon is 2 individuals under 65 cm. All fish above 65 cm are re-released. We encourage the fishermen to release all female fish 🙂

We thank the landowners and partners for the sustainability strategy that was already “chiseled out” 10-15 years ago. Without it, the situation would have looked darker.
