This summer, you will meet Alona and Matias, who are working as our tourism and salmon hosts in Beiarn. We are delighted to have them on board and hope you will give them a warm welcome!
You can find them at Storjord every day from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They can help you with:
- Disinfection of fishing equipment before use in the river or nearby waterways
- Purchasing fishing licences and fishing gear
- Renting outdoor equipment
- Information and recommendations for your visit to Beiarn
- General assistance and guidance during your stay
Meet Our Summer Hosts
Alona previously worked as an assistant at Beiarn Primary and Lower Secondary School. She has a background in law enforcement and is currently pursuing studies in psychology.
Matias also worked as a salmon host in Beiarn last summer. In his spare time, he trains for triathlons—an activity perfectly suited to Beiarn’s natural surroundings, with excellent opportunities for running, cycling, and swimming. He is also a passionate salmon angler.
