The Tollåga-river has been known for decades as a very good salmon river, and this is still valid today. The river always stays clear and is not affected by glacial melts.
The “main-beat” is mostly located along “Tollåneset” and has a shoreline both to Storåga (Beiarelva) and Tollåga, but also has a shoreline from Heståga and up towards the fishing ladder in Høgforsen on the west side of Storåga. There is great variation in the conditions along the zone, and this provides the opportunity for fishing with all types of gear.
In the area there is a cozy campfire with a shelter and an outdoor area. Dry and free firewood is also available on the site. There are also good parking options in the zone.
The beat is owned by the Tollånes-property and Statskog, and operated by the owners of Tollånes
